The race changed at the last here with the well-backed Third Level Tom (7/1 to 4/1jf) blundering away a winning chance.

Niall Madden appeared to have produced his mount with a perfectly timed effort to lead approaching the final fence but the gelding got it all wrong and handed the initiative back to Mister Buttons.

Edward O'Grady's charge had taken it up at the fourth last but appeared booked for second going to the last.

He was gifted the lead again and took the opportunity with both hands. O'Grady put the win down to a change in the ground and a bit of luck.

The runner-up had unseated early on his handicap debut and looked set to atone for that here. He has to go down as an unlucky loser and it will be interesting to see what the handicapper makes of this run.

Arkmore Radar is a consistent sort and ran another sound race. He was always up there and stayed on in third from the second last.

Johnee Joblot started to creep into it turning for home but had no more to offer in fifth from after the second last and kept on at one pace.

Top-weight War Of The World tracked the leaders throughout but failed to quicken from the third last while Nanny Nunny Nac, who had made a lot of the running, was done with after a bad mistake three out.

No Complications and Feichead Ghra were taken out because of the ground while Roll Over was coughing.
