Jumping the third last fence, the winner, Boys Of Wexford (GB), jumped right-handed, hampering I Love You Sivola (FR), placed fifth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The winner, Boys Of Wexford (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Stratford on 19 October 2024 where the gelding was pulled up.
Henry Oliver’s explanation that the gelding had benefitted from the Good ground on this occasion compared to its previous start, which was officially described as Heavy, was noted.
