Flynn opens account with Rocky
I didn't think I'd have many winners at Tramore this week. I knew coming into the week that I hadn't have the ammunition, I didn't have the type of horses for the races. This fellow was our banker and Davy said he won it very well. He will go down the novice route now and he a lovely horse. I wouldn't say he is a deep winter horse but he will probably get a rest for the winter anyway. He might go to Listowel for a winners of one.
Vespasian a local winner for Queally
He finally got his head in front and I've no big plans for him. It's nice to have a winner at the local track. He will go for a handicap somewhere now. He needs the ground quick and it took us a while to find that out. Jonathan is good value for his five pound claim.
Deja vu as King High repeats feature win
He's a right auld servant, and that was kind of the plan for him all along. He ran here last night and he ran a blinder, he missed the break but he flew home and I suppose it left him right for today. Davy said it was never in doubt after he got a run up the rail, he said he was a winner halfway down the hill. If we had more like him it would be an easy job. He's ten now but he still holds a fair bit of ability. He is in the sales at Doncaster, maybe the owners will change their mind now but they might just want a fresher horse. I still think there is a day in him on the flat off his mark over two miles.

Hourigan junior gets in on the act
That's my first winner in a long time (May 12th 2009). I spent two years without the licence though and only took it out again around this time last year. I'm happy with this fellow and he has just learned his trade really. This was just his sixth run and he has just got better and better. In today's race they all looked like they had holes in them but my fella is probably an improving horse.
De Bromhead gets his Tramore winner
It's nice to get a winner here as I've been struggling over the last couple of days. They have been running well without winning. His jumping was unreal and it's great for the syndicate (the Garristown Aintree Syndicate). They bought him a few months ago on my recommendation as a horse to have fun with.
