Following the race, Sam Twiston-Davies reported that Classic Escape (IRE), placed third, slipped on the bend going into the back straight; Stephen Mulqueen reported that AIN’T MY FAULT (IRE), which was pulled up, was never travelling and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination during routine testing revealed the gelding was lame on its right hind.
Henry Brooke reported that Castle North (IRE), which was also pulled up, hung badly left throughout and Stella Barclay reported that the gelding had a breathing problem.
