Mulleady and Walsh too good

She ran a blinder in Listowel, but we met Burrenbridge Lodge on a good day. He (Burrenbridge Lodge) disappointed last Saturday and she came out of the race well. She's very versatile on ground and we've no plans at the minute.

Mangan team in great form

I have to say I didn't fancy him today. If I knew it was as soft I wouldn't have come here, but I'm pleasantly surprised. A lot of lads who rode him said he wouldn't go on soft ground because he does like firm. We were going to let him off after today, but we'll keep him going now.

Gamble keeps race in Stewards' Room

we're based between Listowel and Limerick so Roadtoabbeyfeale is well named because he has won in both tracks now!. He is an out and out stayer and he seems to revel in that ground. We were going to send him chasing but we'll keep hurdling him now while he's winning. He's still a raw baby so more hurdling should stand to him.

Raz De Maree takes Munster National

That's my first time winning the race and it was my birthday during the week. We were hoping there would be a good three mile chase in him as he stays so well. He's small, but he's a good lepper and a natural jumper. He got beaten in the Midlands National at Kilbeggan under a big weight and 10 stone 4 suited him better. He ran ordinary in Galway on heavy ground. He couldn't go on it. He wouldn't have wanted the ground any worse. The Troytown is a possibility.

Argocat takes to fences well

He was the highest-rated hurdler in the race and the four-year-old allowance was a great help. He's a tall horse and I always felt that he would be better over fences. He was murdered last time at the second last, but he jumped very well today.

First and last race double for Martin

He disappointed in his bumper. He was plenty fit enough [today], but he's a real chaser. He's a great model of a horse. He has scope, size and strength. He's a cracking horse and that was ideal for his second run on the track.
