O'Brien moves further ahead in title race
He's a lovely colt, and has come forward well from his last run. It's possible but not definite that he could run again this year, maybe in the Listed race (Eyrefield Stakes) at Leopardstown. He's a lovely moving horse, and the bit of rain helped loosen up the ground.
No crying game as Seolan impresses
A lot of the credit for this has to go to Paul Deegan. I really liked her when she won at Listowel. I had a big strong colt that ran down there and he really struggled to get through the ground. She worked very well last week and I would have cried if they had called it off. I hadn't looked beyond today as we just wanted to get blacktype with her.
Katla returns to form in Testimonial
She's come back but it's hard on the heart! I worked her at (Tommy) Stack's on grass. She did two bits of work and I think that crowned her. She was just not coming home in her races before, and I'm sure it's that bit of work on grass that's made the difference. She could run next in a five furlong Listed race at Dundalk later this month, while there is also a race for her at Doncaster early next month. We'll see how she comes out of this before deciding what to do.
Brouder's big day out at the Curragh
They both joined me this year and have ridden plenty of winners in pony racing. I asked Aidan Comerford [one of the owners] to leave the horse with me to give him a few rides. To be honest I'd run out of ideas with the horse before today. I didn't want to put blinkers on in case she ran away on the young lad.
Soprano strikes again at headquarters
I'm delighted and she's holding her form well. She will probably go now for a Group 3 in France.
Voleuse De Coeurs dominates Cesarewitch
We thought she would win and that's been the plan since Galway. It was soft in Galway, but very different conditions today. It was real winter ground and I haven't seen it as bad on the Curragh before. Leigh gave her a great ride and dad saw it live in Canada. She won like the decent filly she is. She'll stay in training and hopefully she can pick up some blacktype next year.
Euphrasia sheds her maiden tag
It's unlikely that she'll run again this year. She seems to handle the conditions very well.
