Nagle off the mark with on-fire O'Brien
That's my first winner and I'm based at Mocklershill in Fethard. I have four for the track and a few for the point-to-points. I was with Edward O'Grady and Thomond O'Mara in the past.
Chrysanthemum blossoms on debut
She is a filly that we always thought quite a bit of. It was a big ask in a Listed race first time though and she has done it well. She could run again before the end of the season, possibly up in class.
Steinbeck on the way back
He was very fresh early and he could have done with a lot faster pace. Considering that he found plenty under pressure. Better ground and a better race would suit him well. He is in the Queen Elizabeth (October 25th) and he'll be way better in a real good race. We're looking at that race for Rip Van Winkle as well but nothing has been decided yet. Beethoven would be a possibility for there too. As regards Spin, she is perfect after her race. We have no explanation for why she ran like that (finished last at 4/5 in the previous contest).
Moore gets Eleanora home in the Blandford
The ground made all the difference and he was fitter today too. This place and the wet ground suits him but he's had his problems.
Murtagh wins Kinane's race
She had traffic issues last time. They went a good pace and that's what she wants. We've given up on five and seven with her and this (six furlongs) is her trip.
Beggy doubles up on Stars
She deserved that as she has got there too early before. She is very effective on the ground and she will stick to six furlongs now. She has an engine though running back quick was a concern. She is from the same family as Indiana Gal though she is not as good as her.
