An enquiry was held to consider interference exiting the back straight involving Mr Coldstone (IRE), placed third, ridden by Charlie Todd; Ornua (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Tabitha Worsley and Atlantic Storm (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Charlie Hammond.
Todd was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had manoeuvred left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Worsley and Hammond to be short of room and take a check.
Following the race, James Best reported that Simon The Great (GB), placed sixth, hung badly left-handed.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Atlantic Storm (IRE), unplaced, during routine testing, revealed the gelding had bled from the nose.
