Silver Flash could be next now for Grace
She won nicely - she ran promisingly at the Curragh and everything went according to plan today. She settled well and quickened up nicely and the second horse also looked nice,. She was an expensive yearling, and is a lovely big strong filly and we might look at the Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday week. She is a lovely filly and is the first winner in Ireland or England for Born To Sea - some are showing a nice bit of promise but they aren't really early precocious types and need a bit of time. He is a son of Urban Sea at the end of the day and I like the ones I have - he has only had half a dozen runners so far though.
"Smashing ride" from Burke gets Pious home
We persevered with him longer than we should have but he has been running well all year,.

Baobei impressive in Excelebration Tipperary
She was really professional and is an out-and-out sprinter. She jumped smart, travels, naturally knows her job and is a strong mature filly,. She'll have a break and I'm not in a great rush with her. There aren't any two year old five furlong races for her in Ireland so might have to travel with her. Shane got her to relax at halfway and said she was really good today. She is an exciting filly and I'm delighted for her owner (Chinese national Zhang Yuesheng) who has five two year olds with us and has horses all over the world. He knows his horses and will be patient with her.

Exactoris gets off the mark over flights
He's a nice horse but jumped a bit green today. He should improve plenty for this and I'll speak to JP (McManus) and Frank (Berry) and see where to go next. Galway could be an option and he is a nice staying type who will be better when he jumps a fence. He was a bit fresh today as he had been off the track for a while.
Tristram another for Eric McNamara
It's been a good 24 hours and he did it well. Three miles is his trip and he'll go for something similar next in a few weeks. I'm delighted for his owner/breeder Etna Fox, from Hospital, Co Limerick, who loves the horse and is a great supporter of mine.
