The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Pincode, ridden by O.J. Orr, placed third, Bridle Path, ridden by D.M. Redmond, placed second and Dew Line, ridden by R. Coakley, placed fifth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
