Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Craiganboy (IRE) had refused to race after the start had been effected, and was therefore deemed to be a runner.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Craiganboy (IRE) which had refused to race.
N W Alexander and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the gelding had also refused to race at Ayr on 19 January 2020, the trainer was informed that any future similar behaviour from Craiganboy (IRE) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Well Above Par (IRE), placed sixth, had lost its right-fore shoe.
Martin Todhunter subsequently reported that an endoscopic examination of Sophie Olivia (IRE), the day after the race, found the mare to have scoped dirty.
