The winner Ok Corral (IRE) appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Cheltenham on 01 January 2020 where the gelding finished ninth of twelve runners, beaten by 65 lengths.
The representative of Nicky Henderson explained that the gelding benefited for a flatter track and additionally a quicker surface.

An enquiry was held into the riding of the winner Ok Corral (IRE), ridden by Mr Derek O’Connor who having dropped his whip after the last fence, used the palm of his hand to encourage the horse on the run in to the winning line.
Having heard the riders evidence and seen recordings of the run in, the Stewards noted Mr O’Connors explanation that he instinctively used his hand against the pad and avoided making contact with the horses skin.
The Stewards reminded him of his responsibilities under rule D(2).
