It is nice to win the race again. He is a flat-bred horse more or less but he is a grand big stamp of a horse. The day he won at Tramore he was flat to the board as it was too sharp for him. I was looking forward to stepping him up to two and half to find out would he get it and he got it well. It is going to open doors for him now big time. This is his ground and hopefully we will get another run into now before it goes. We won't run him on heavy ground. He is going to be 120 now or near enough to it so he will be stepping up again. He should go on now, he is the right age and hopefully he will have a good future. It is nice to have a good horse for Mr Bartlett. We will place him carefully over the winter and we won't run him on real heavy ground. He is more of a autumn, spring, summer horse. A L T Moore, trainer

An extended handicap steeplechase for four yrs old and upwards (135 = 11st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap shall not be less than 11st 10lb
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each steeplechase won Any horse rated above 135 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 11st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 135 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any four year old rated above 135 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
