Spring Heeled upsets the odds in Galway opener
I was very concerned about the ground beforehand. Being the first race we got the best of it. He handled it better than the others. I think the world of this horse and he has a bright future. He had one educational run in a point-to-point and touch wood he is a good jumper. He won't be over raced this year and he is bred to be a chaser.
Credit makes it third time lucky over hurdles
Barry said he got a bit hampered at the second last. He's a fair tool and will go to Cheltenham next month for a Novice Hurdle over 2m 5f. He needs a trip because he is not a 2m horse.
Geraghty doubles up aboard Capellanus
I was disappointed with him in the Cesarewitch (finished twelfth behind winner Minsk) but delighted with the way he battled so well today. We have no real plan but we will find another handicap for him now.
Gambled on Cold stays on Best up Galway hill
This horse is crying out for fences and wants further than this. It's great for Michael (winning owner Michael O'Leary) who is having a great run with his horses at the moment. He won two point-to-point's and is a horse to look forward too.
Sweeps Hill takes the feature in style
He has been a little bit disappointing up to now. I'd say the ground was a bit loose today and not too deep which probably helped him. He put in a lovely round of jumping today.
Double up for Doyle aboard Looney
He handled that ground well and stayed on well. The owners (The Looney Bishop syndicate) are from Wales.
Ipsos storms up the hill to score impressively
He might not be a bad horse. Nina gave him a brilliant ride as she let them all play and then came at them. He loves heavy ground and stays well.
