Jimmy Takes his Chance in Navan sprint
He won a shade cosy in the end,. He bumped into one the last day. He's won over five and seven now so he's versatile and we'll tip away with him. We've nothing really in the pipeline and we'll just see what comes up. He's consistent and Robbie gets a good old tune out of him. He's hot and Robbie just sits cold on him. It's great for Robbie and Tom (Connolly's) wife isn't too well so hopefully that will give her a lift.

He sort of makes it hard work for himself as he travels on and off. He's been like that in all his races. Shane thought four furlongs out that he was never going to get there and then he ends up winning a length-and-a-half. He actually makes it look easy in the end. Basically he probably wants up to a mile-and-six and a good galloping track. I don't think ground is any issue. He might have made it easier for himself today if he hadn't stumbled coming out of the stalls. He got caught very wide on the first bend. He is what he is. He's won his maiden now, thank God, and we'll go from there.
Keane praised for his work on Inscribe
I thought Colin was very good on him. That's as far as he wants to go,. A mile-and-two or a mile-and-a-half is his trip. We had to protect him last year because we were on fast ground all summer. He's a gross individual. I'd like to think they won't be too hard on him and leave a little handicap in him. He's a nice horse to have. We'll maybe look for a premier handicap over a mile-and-a-half. If it was a wet summer he could keep stepping up gradually.
Cave collects in Navan feature
That was grand. I thought things worked out against him in Roscommon as they went no gallop and he got boxed in,. He couldn't go anywhere and couldn't do anything about the pace. They sprinted away from him but he learned plenty. He's a horse that's on the improve, he's learning as he goes along and he's a good looking horse. He loved that little bit of juice in today's ground and he got every yard of the ten furlongs. I'd like to think that if the handicapper is handy with us we have another premier handicap in him.
