He was unlucky at the Curragh in the Apprentice Derby. The boss will probably try and find another handicap for him now. He is a grand honest horse. The horses seem to be running better now.

A second and a win for McConnell's Tramore horses

He got a great ride. He tried to sneak down the inside and then get a run. He has been a tricky horse and everyone probably knows him from his Down Royal exploits when he wouldn't leave the parade ring. It's just great to get the win,. He is a fun little horse and he'll probably jump a hurdle. We were worried he might plant himself, he just didn't want to leave that day for whatever reason. We have taken to walking him to the start. He jumped off grand, although he was a little bit slow away. They went hard and it probably played to his strengthens and then he stayed on well. . I've no real plan for him. He was only 1,500 guineas at the horses in training sale last year, and that's two seconds and a win now.

Doyle's Fiesole lands 6th career win

I'm delighted with him now. He ran well in the McEnery Cup the other night. Wayne Lordan rode him there and he just said he wants a bit more of an ease in the ground, and I'd say the ground is after getting a bit softer,. He just winged it around here and picked up well. He'll probably go back over hurdles as he is well-handicapped over them. He was drawn out wide at Galway and you know yourself when you are drawn out wide there you may as well stay at home.
