Mr James King, the rider of Bermeo (IRE), was unseated after the third last fence.
Mr King was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved and was caused by Mr King losing his balance on landing after Bermeo (IRE) had got in close to the fence, resulting in the rider losing his balance and subsequently being unseated a number of strides after the fence.
Following the race, Miss Maxine O'Sullivan reported that Forza Milan (IRE), placed fourth, made a bad mistake early on.

O'Brien reported that Milanford (IRE), which was pulled up, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Opposites Attract (IRE), which was pulled up, had been struck into on its right hind, that Pontresina (IRE), whose rider was unseated, was lame on its right fore and that One Forty Seven (IRE), placed fifth, had a wound on its right hind.
