Miss Myers shows her true colours on second start
She was mad in season a few days before her debut run and I thought she had gotten over it but she ran flat. She had won a barrier trial and I thought she'd win that race so we patched her up and came back here today. She's proven what she does at home, she beats everything at home and she is the best of my two year old fillies. It was no surprise she won and she won her barrier trial on good or good to firm, so she'll go on any ground. She is a big raw weak filly and will get 1m4f no problem next year. I believe she will be a black-type filly, she has a good pedigree and whether she gets black-type this year or next year I don't know. It depends on herself in the next few weeks.
Big Call handles the ground well to win for Crosse
Meade's Dadoozdart wins Martin Molony Stakes
it was very straightforward. I spoke to Noel last night and he said not to have any worries about the ground or his fitness. He raced a little lazily in the Ulster Derby so he said to get him to jump and to get up and travel as close as we could in our comfort zone. He caught me off guard when I gave him a squeeze to go with Colin (Keane, on Nickajack Cave) turning in as he quickened and he got there too soon. He battled well and is a nice horse. It is testing ground, he is game and genuine and that's what counted.
Crosse completes Limerick double
the step up in trip helped him big-time and he likes the ease in the ground. He ran better at Gowran last time and we'll probably go juvenile hurdling now. Shane [Crosse] gave him a good ride, they went quick enough in front, which helped.

Lee gets a good tune out of Spanish Tenor
It is great to get him back, . We thought he was gone a bit lazy in himself so we stuck blinkers on him for the first time. He had his ground, was a class above those in his heyday and Billy said he has a higher cruising speed than the rest of them. He's not in again but will be soon. He was going to be gelded last week but I said we'd give him one chance with blinkers. He more than likely will be gelded over the winter but he still has his ability and it is great to get a win with him.
