Make Haste towards the Queen Mary
She is a quick filly and I was very impressed with her today,.
"Plenty of traffic" but no stopping Foley and Mehman
Shane did well to get through plenty of traffic and he said that’s his ground,. We’ll probably go back to the Curragh and find a nice sprint for him. He won three before in Dundalk but never got it together on the turf for some reason. He can be a bit volatile and on his first couple of runs of the year he can be a bit fresh. He was very calm and chilled today.
One Smack Mac quick to make an impression
He’s a nice horse. He did what we thought he’d do but he’s doing everything so easy at home he was greener than we imagined he’d be. If he wasn’t as good as he is he’d have got beat though greenness,.
Keane doubles up on Dance Night Andday
Emerald enjoys beautiful Naas terrain
He’s a nice horse and will improve with racing. I thought he’d nearly win in the Curragh the last day but he probably got a little tired in hindsight as he’s a burly horse.
Sea The Boss appreciates step up in trip for Group 3 success
She was good last year and I just ran her back too quick after the Champions Weekend. She doesn’t go on soft ground. It was a big ask for her with three of them having already had a run this year. I thought fitness might catch her out but she was good and stayed well. She has a turn of foot and showed us that last year when she won her maiden. It’s only her fourth run and she will come forward a good bit from this. She might end up in the Irish Oaks and will be moving up to a mile and a half.
