Very easy for The Great War
I'm delighted and he's fast. He's made lovely progression from Tipperary. He could come back here for the Marble Hill if the ground is fast and if not he could go straight to Royal Ascot.
More joy for Lynam
She did it well. The kid rode her very well and rode to instructions. They went very hard up front. We might take a chance and go up a furlong and run her at Naas next week,.
Roche delivers goods on impressive Alkasser
That was a good confident ride by Leigh. I told him to do exactly the same as he did on Tested at Gowran Park yesterday. He rode him with extreme confidence and delivered the goods. I'll speak to Sheikh Hamdan (Al Maktoum, winning owner) and Angus Gold (racing manager) and it's quite possible that he could run in the Irish 2000 Guineas.
Berry bounces back with a Smile
Magician back to winning ways
He's going to come back here for the Tattersalls Gold Cup now. He was away in Dubai and things didn't go right for him and we gave him a little rest after that. He's not gone right handed that much.
Dead-heat but still 2 at the Curragh for Roche
On his first couple of runs he wasn't coming out of the stalls and when we had him gelded he won his next start. Gary said he was still as green as grass but he's as honest as the day is long. I was convinced we were beaten and I'm happy the horses are running well.
Big race double for in-form Weld
Kevin rode a double for me a number of years ago at Leopardstown when Pat was away in Australia. He gave her a very positive ride, and the filly responded. We'll have to consider her for the Irish 1,000 Guineas. She won a Listed race well here last year, and I think she'll appreciate a mile. My one concern today was that it would be a furlong too short for her but she battled well.
Seas Of Wells makes lovely start
She's a professional little thing . she's nicely bred but she's very small and you'd put her in your pocket. She's sharp and I don't know if she'll want any further than that. We'll step her up now and see if we can get some black-type and she'll be a mating for Sea The Stars down the line. She works like she's a sprinter.
