You'd have to be delighted with that for a first run. He was just ready to run and I was delighted with the way he travelled. Joseph said he has plenty of speed and he knew after a furlong and a half that he was going better than the others.

Pat (Smullen) rode him the last day here over five, where he flew home at the finish. He told me to make sure and run him over six the next day.

He is a bit nervous and he has given plenty of lads plenty of falls at home. He has a big engine and he is a typical Galileo. Once I got away well and got rolling I knew I had a chance.

He's one of my favourites in the yard, and a lovely honest horse. He likes this track having won here before, and we'll find another rated race for him. He owes us nothing in 2013.

That wasn't unexpected. He has run well a few times on straight tracks. He was practically un-rideable at Down Royal the last day going right-handed. We thought he was very good as a two-year-old but then he got injured.

Little fish are sweet. She is in again at Leopardstown on Thursday for a nine furlongs fillies handicap and she will run there if she comes out of this ok.
