Lucida impresses on her debut
She's good. She has got an interesting pedigree and is related to Helen Street. She seems to have inherited all the best traits.

Bolger and Manning at double with Parish Boy
I thought he would win at Leopardstown. He's a good sort of horse. It will be next year before we see the best of him. I would say he will be effective at a mile and I would expect him to stay.
Strait Of Zanzibar shows a good attitude
I like these conditions races. It gives horses like him another chance to win a race. I was a bit surprised he went up 1lb as he was beaten five and a half lengths in fourth. His previous highest winning mark was 84 and he's 87 now. Shane said there was a bit of pace in the race. He got a lead and battled well in the last furlong when he needed to. He's had a good year winning three. He's been in a very good vein of form. Seven furlongs or a mile is ideal for him.
Twists lunges late for Flynn
That was great. I trained the mother who won five for us. The Cooney's have been great customers for years and always have four or five with me,. He's a lovely horse but is still a bit weak. I was worried about the draw but he overcame it. Danny said they went too fast and came back to him.
Jockey O'Connor boots home his first winner
That's brilliant, it's a special day! I think this young lad is going to be a top-class rider. He's so cool and confident. Even when he is riding work at home his input is invaluable. Today is all about Donagh and I'm proud and delighted. I hope now I can keep giving him winners.
Newtown's Night steps up on previous efforts
She won nicely and the drop in distance probably suited her. She pulled too hard over a mile and a quarter the last day and she's probably going a bit better. She won snugly. We don't work her too hard at home so we were in the dark with her. She likes an ease and wouldn't have run without the rain. If we get similar ground we'll see if we can win a handicap with her.
