Third time lucky for Condon's Beauty
Lyons newcomer races To Glory under Keane
He is a lovely, flashy type and is a real Ger Lyons-type of horse; he does it well at home, is a nice horse and he is only ready to start. Colin said he loved that ground (good) but wouldn't want it any quicker. He likes that trip and will get further. He has showed a good attitude and will only improve. He is the only horse we have by Toronado and this fellow has done everything right and we're delighted with him.
Noirvento scores for Collins and Whelan
She has gotten stronger over the winter and Ronan gave her a really beautiful ride; they went very quick early on, she finds it hard to get into her stride but he left her get confidence and produced her very well. We took her out due to ground and being in season twice recently and the thing with this filly is she is so honest and so genuine on suitable ground. It is a loss to Limerick today that the syndicate are not here today! . There are 18 in the syndicate and they are phenomenal people from my local pub, the Croft Inn (in Suncroft, Co.Kildare). It's an awful shame they're not here.
Dark Design gets up on the line for Foley
He is the first horse and the first winner for the Galtee Racing Syndicate. He is a lovely looking horse and hopefully he can improve going forward. He is getting tougher and is enjoying his racing but the ground (good) wouldn't want to be any quicker than what it is. He was at his own level in three-year-old company today and could step up to 1m2f.
33/1 winner for Handbrakes Down Syndicate
he took out the wall going by the stands the first time around at Roscommon and then he was way too keen. We put a tongue-tie on him and that made all the difference. Gavin settled him today, they got a nice run around and quickened up well. He'll improve for it.

Donnacha trains first winner on Turf
He did it well and looked entitled to do that after his run at Gowran. It is nice to get a winner on turf. It is not easy for three year olds, especially if they are running from level weights against geldings, some which are ten. I think he is a decent horse. I might see that the handicapper does but I don't really want to run him in handicaps and could step him into Stakes class. Whether or not he can compete at Stakes level we will find out, but if he did turn out to be that level, he could go to Australia. I think if he could run as a three year old out there. He'd be on level weights with other three year olds and if he turned out to be that class, I'd think about something like that. I have never come across a horse born at that time of year and it's one of those things that he isn't a three year old, but he is a fun horse.
Wajaaha starting to prosper for Byrnes
It was great to get it. He had a great draw today compared to a bad draw the last day at Roscommon. There might be something for him at Galway. The ground was perfect for him today; he handles a slight dig in it.
