The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. H. Hynes, that Mr S. Cleary, rider of Honky Tonk, had weighed in 1.4lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had a drink which may have explained the discrepancy in weight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr S. Cleary was in breach of Rule 230(iii) and having considered his clean record in this regard,they cautioned him on this occasion
