Touchdown for Chicago Bear on second start
Coogan back amongst the winners with Stop On Red
He had a good run here the last day and with normal racing improvement I half expected him to do the job today,. If we can win another one with him we might get him sold. It's that long since I had a winner I can't tell you when it was! . It's good to get back but as I say 'you can't go to war without soldiers' and I don't have the soldiers. I only have four riding out.
Foreign Legion battles well for Coakley
He might run again before Christmas. He's a good solid handicapper and we're very lucky to have him. He's a nice horse, a well-bred horse. Breen (White, owner) is lucky and Ross has been lucky for us before as well.
Last to first for nibbled-at Indiana Grey
We'll have to get (owner) Ray Moore's name beside a lot more horses, he is so lucky!. He bought this filly about five runs ago and that's the second win since he got her so he'll be thrilled with himself. We had a few quid on her at 40/1 today because we thought she was in good enough order. It was atrocious ground on her last run (when last of 17 at the Curragh) and all the horses drawn on her side ran terrible. We were hoping it was that, you never know as she was on the go a long time and might have just gone over the top. Her work has been good though. Danny (Sheehy) was very good on her, very strong. Missing the kick is typical her, we thought the blinkers had stopped that because she used to do it before we put them on. That's her first time to do it badly in a while. It might have been a blessing as they went really hard up front and kind of stopped. It played to her strengths.
Winner Takes Itall outclasses rivals to give Joseph a double
It's nice to get his head in front. He (Mikey Sheehy) gave him a nice confident ride. He's usually better over further but they went hard in front. He was the best horse in a moderate race.
Geoghegan can raise a glass after Chateau Musar's narrow win
He's a very cowardly horse and it's taken a long time to teach him how to do things right. Every run he's getting better. Chris said everything went wrong for him there, he got bumped, so he did well to win from where he did. He's lowly rated so hopefully there will be another one in him, that should crown him and he should improve. He loves that surface so we'll keep him on the go, although we won't overdo it.
Lavery and Breen share the spoils in Dundalk finale
I'm delighted to take the dead-heat,. She's a bit timid among horses and Chris said she doesn't really help herself.
