Sergei impresses in Navan opener
We're delighted with him. Donnacha loved him when he rode him in Dundalk,. He's a big powerful horse and has plenty of speed. He came on as obviously he was never away before Dundalk. We'll look at the Marble Hill or the Rochestown with him. Ryan said he didn't think six would be a problem, five or six. He went to the line strong. That was nice for his second race as we don't have the novice races and you are limited after you win a maiden. We always thought he was very nice and between now and Ascot we'd like to get another one into him.
Maymine lands a gamble under Lee for O'Brien
We're delighted with her. She came forward from her first run and I'm very grateful to have her. Thanks to Paul and Gary Kavanagh and Paul's wife Theresa (owners). I was delighted with the ride Billy gave her. He kept things simple. I think she's quite a nice filly. She'll go for a three-year-old fillies sprint at Naas on May 7th (Listed Polonia Stakes) all things being equal.
Mokhalad springs a 20/1 surprise
He's a lovely horse, I really like him,. I started him off over a mile-and-a-half but he was a shell then and he's a tank of a horse now. He's just got quicker and quicker. I wasn't disappointed with his run last time as I put it down to him not staying. He has plenty of options now over five, six and seven. We'll see what the handicapper does now and we might target some of the premier handicaps at the back end.
Primo & O'Leary hit the big time with Listed win
That's my biggest ever win and my heart is pumping. It's awesome and we'll have a couple of bottles of champagne tonight,. Niall gave him a superb ride. He said to me after Cork last year that he was a horse that could go anywhere and after his couple of runs this year he kept the faith. He said he was a winner two furlongs out today and it was a matter of how far. I'm thrilled and delighted. Niall said when he got off that we can go wherever we want now and we'll rock up in all those good races. We'll stick to five with him as we tried to get a bit of prize-money over six at Dundalk last time and he just petered out.
Caffe makes the breakthrough on handicap debut
I'm delighted with that. I was happy with the mark he got. His runs were all solid in good maidens,. He just fell away a bit at the back end and probably wasn't 100 percent for his first run. He looked 100 percent today and that was the perfect trip, he'll probably get a bit further. That's his type of ground, he probably wouldn't want good to firm. I was taking it one day at a time with him as I was wondering would he be up to this job, he looks more than up to it and we'll see what the handicapper does.
Gamble landed as Camile bounces back to her best
She was working fairly okay and had come down a good bit in the weights. On her old form she was entitled to do that,. Wayne gave her fantastic ride as she never looked like she was going to win anywhere.
Sublime just holds off fast-finishing France
He's a nice horse. He does everything right,. We did a few bits with him at the backend of last year and then gave him time off. We decided to come here when we saw this maiden. If he's not sold he could be a lovely horse for a juvenile hurdle. That's his first racecourse gallop and he'll come on a fair bit. Tim (O'Driscoll) and Roger (Loughran) are good friends and I think Roger might own a little bit of him.
Constancio shows his true worth in the last
