Foot-perfect Filon wins first jumps race since lockdown
he was fit and well and jumped beautifully. Mark (Walsh) said he was very slick over his hurdles. He can be keen and settled well in front today. He keeps himself well and doesn't take much to get him fit. We kept a certain amount of jumpers going during lockdown and they were ready to go and it's a nice way to start back.

Poseidon rules in Limerick
He is consistent and ran up to his rating. He jumped really well and he likes that ground. He could run on the Flat also for the summer, and I'll look for something before Galway.
Laureate takes Limerick plaudits
She had been working well and was ready to rock n' roll in March, so was very fit and very well. I am delighted for the owner (Mrs Orla Cleary-O'Kane) and it's great to be back racing, healthy and well. She may go to Bellewstown in a couple of weeks and ideally I want to jump a fence with her.
Dame De Ruban rewards her supporters at big price
I was over at the Sales looking for a mare for my brothers Louis and Jack and two of their friends and Scobie (Aidan) Fitzgerald collared me. He had three to sell and was selling this filly and said she was just weak. To be fair to him he was A1 and everything he said about her was class. We had a little bit of a virus in March, and she has bounced back from that. You'd be hoping the handicapper won't be too hard on her but it was nice to get it anyway. To be fair, a lot of the owners were very understanding; I asked them could we sort things out and they left them to stay in training. This one was ready to go and we have 13 horses for the summer.
Hello Pilgrim gives Flanagan birthday double
When she jumped off Sean said she was behind the bridle but it worked out best for her when she was pulled out wide. She's very small and when she got a bit of room she got a hold of the bridle. He said she was good and fit for today. She does her best work at the end and she loves that good ground. She has no size but is tough out. She is a summer mare and we'll keep her to hurdles as she is probably too small to jump a fence. I have 10 in for the summer.
Derrinlaur Bill and Codd team up to good effect
She is owned by a great friend of mine, Conor Hewitt, and I'm delighted for him. He has put plenty business our way and he picked this one out at the right money as a foal and she is very well related. She is for sale and Jamie rode her work two weeks ago and liked her a lot. She was primed to go point-to-pointing but ended up here, and we think she could be a proper filly and Jamie thinks an awful lot of her. We have 10 horses to run for the summer and it's great to be back with a winner.
