Elms comes good at Fourth attempt
He'll probably run in the Lincoln at the Curragh this Sunday. He's not a bad horse and has plenty of gears.
Theleze takes full advantage of rival's fall
She was a little fortunate, and she'll go out in trip now. Andrew said she would probably be better suited by better ground as well. We'll find a race for her at Fairyhouse.
Townend makes all on Mackey Boy
He's a lovely big framed horse but has taken a bit of time to come to himself. He ran well here in October but my horses were a bit sick after that. We've had a few point-to-point winners, and they seem to be back now. He'll make a nice chaser.
Response completes hat-trick
It was Patrick's idea to run here as he wouldn't have a light weight!. Patrick thinks he might improve for better ground. He's a horse that's coming back from leg trouble, and we'll see what the handicapper does. We were slightly worried about coming back in trip but Patrick felt after riding here yesterday that the testing ground would counteract the trip. He is owned by a few pals of Patrick, and they will think this is an easy game now!
Townend doubles up as Joyce opens account
I thought this morning she would win but I had a runner earlier that ran quite poorly . Saddleoncemore finished seventh in the mares maiden hurdle . and that was a bit of a worry. I'm delighted with her today carrying top-weight on that ground. Her work has been brilliant and that's her trip, with a bit with it. Paul gave her a mighty ride and she's a chaser in the making.
Kauto's brother records clear-cut bumper win
That's a relief. All he does at home is eat and sleep and it's taken him this long to pick up the bridle. I told James to be positive and don't be on the bridle turning in. There is a small chance that he could run in another bumper this season. He's already jumped a fence, and we're thrilled with his jumping.
Summer proves a Star for the Walsh family
I bought her to go to the breeze-up's but she wasn't quick enough to go there so we held onto her. She has a good staying pedigree. She finished well at Punchestown and has obviously come on well from that run. She will come back here in a few weeks for a Listed four-year-old bumper.
