Belle Et Bete does it with minimum of fuss
She's a genuine filly and did it well. It was an opportunity that we couldn't miss. Colin said she had plenty up her sleeve and was just idling in front. I think she won't be too busy for the rest of the season. She can fill out and be a nice three-year-old.
Kanes Pass gets her second Roscommon win
She obviously likes it around here. When I saw the draw I was raging [drawn 13]. They went so hard in front it suited her and she got a nice confident ride. She has won five races for me, what more could you ask for?
Empress Toorah wins a Roscommon thriller
I was watching on the stands and I was sure the other horse had won. I thought that's typical now two of them beaten in close finishes [Have A nice Day was second in the previous race]. She's good and tough and has got a line of consistency going now. Earlier in the year she was coming in and out of season. She has grown and is strong and that's as far as she wants to go.
Grandma too savvy for the 2/9 Warrior
She likes that fast ground. It was too soft for her at Cork the last time. Bit of a case for horses for courses. I think the last time Fran rode her she won here (in September 2012). He also won on her mother (High Reef in July 2005) so he must be getting nearly as old as me!
McCreery doubles up with Love The Feeling
She has disappointed me on the flat, but all the jockeys have been telling me to wait for soft ground with her. She has done a bit of schooling and liked it. I think they watered the hurdle track so maybe it wasn't as fast as we thought. I bought her sister because she (Love The Feeling) was a nice two-year-old, but maybe she'll need a bit of time as well.
Hell Cat Maggie one for the punters
She'll probably go chasing. Whether she'll go over hurdles again or not, I'm not sure. I'll have to speak to the owner (Kieran Cotter). She's very consistent. She had a number of seconds before she won and it's funny when they get into the habit of winning things can really turn around. She's a fine big mare with a nice pedigree and hopefully she can progress over fences.
Clara Mc Cloud sees it out well
She'll go chasing and she's very honest. I'd say she'll go on any ground once it's not bottomless winter ground.
