An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when the winner, Calliope (GB), ridden by Conor O’Farrell interfered with Old Jewry (IRE), placed third, ridden by Alain Cawley.
O’Farrell was cautioned for careless riding as he failed to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount drifting left causing Old Jewry (IRE) to be momentarily tightened for room.
Following the race, Danny McMenamin reported that Condarcia (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout.
