Fistoulig Does it in Style
He'll stay hurdling for a while and he'll probably be out again in three weeks or so.
Taipan Back to his Best
The two fallers (Majestic Concorde and Cuan Na Grai) took away from the race but at the time I wasn't complaining. He was a little bit sluggish although he did jump very well. If he comes out of this well he'll go for the Arkle but I'd like to see a little bit of cut in the ground. At least that puts him back in the picture.
Catch Me Very Smooth in Boyne
I'm delighted, that was much easier than I anticipated. I really don't know where he is going to run. I'd love to go to Cheltenham and if it came up soft or heavy I'd run him in the Champion Hurdle. I just don't know how bullish I am about the stayers and then there is always Aintree. It is a nice problem to have.
Beckett Tough as Rock
I'll give him a bit of a break and maybe go for something in Punchestown. (EM)
Siegemaster Best in Eventful Heat
Davy said that none of them really jumped. The ground is like a quagmire. At least he won anyway.
Solstice Lives up to his Billing
The reason he is called Solstice Knight is because the two owners (Dermot Cox and Nelius Hayes) and the horse were all born on Solstice Day (21st of June). He is so different to his full-brother and he has the real cut of a chaser. He is entered at Cheltenham but I don't know if he'll go there. He had a bit of leg trouble as a four-year-old. (EM)
Lead The Parade Wins Bumper
He is a lovely big horse and I see him as a hurdler/chaser in time. Two and a half miles will probably be his trip. He jumps very well and he'll go for a maiden hurdle in the next few weeks.
