Gambled-on Mm Sixsevei routs her opposition
She's been going very, very, well at home. I don't have her overly long. She was in Paul Deegan's and he sent her to me in good nick. He had a high opinion of her and told me what to do with her to be honest, so credit to him. Pat Khvedelidze, who rides her out every day, gets on very well with her and he told me she wouldn't be beaten. It's new owners in the yard, Mrs Martinelli, they have a stud down in Athy and she loves this filly. I wasn't expecting to win that far but being owner breeders I'd say they'd love to get black-type. Paul was delighted with her first run and he said she was a bit weak last year. He said she's got a lot stronger. I don't know what to make of that really. A lot of jockeys were coming in saying they didn't handle the ground but she did.

Beckwith Place overturns odds-on jolly
He's a lovely horse and we've always liked him. We just made a decision to come down here because the ground was a little bit easier for him. I don't know where we are going with him next but hopefully he'll improve from that. He's a big horse and he's on the up. Ronan gave him a lovely ride because mentally he's a little bit immature. That race will improve him every way hopefully, mentally and physically. His run in Gowran was a good one and he's one to look forward to.
Gizi Gazelle delights O'Connell in Tipperary
She liked the ground. She ran on well in Cork the last day, when she was short of a bit of room, and we were hoping she'd improve. We thought we were a bit unlucky the last day but we're happy now. If the ground stays soft she'll run again in a few weeks time. When it gets good we'll put her away. She wants it soft or yielding. We like her and she seems to be improving.
Full Shilling a first for Mooney in Tipperary
It was a long year last year when she wasn't just firing for us but the lads have kept the faith and we got it right this time thank God. We'll see how she comes out of this and go from there. She'd rather have the turf and Dundalk wouldn't be her ideal track.
Less on time where it matters
I'm delighted she won. Our horses are running okay but we need a couple of winners now to keep kicking for the rest of the year,. She won easy but was probably entitled to win that. She stays well and we'll see what the handicapper does, he probably won't be easy on her. She was late into the parade ring as she gave us a bit of hassle getting the tack on her, but she'll be grand. She'll go on that ground and will be okay as long as it's not too quick. She has ability and the cheekpieces probably helped her.
In-form Meade strikes with Roseriver Has
I'm delighted with him. The good gallop suited him and he'll go a little further probably. He'll probably run in a handicap at some stage but I think his next run will probably be over hurdles. He's not over-big and that's sort of why we went back to the Flat. We thought after his last run that he could win a maiden. He wasn't far behind the favourite the last day. Nina (Carberry) said when she won a bumper on him that he doesn't like being hit. I said it to Colin and he didn't, he said you're probably right and it was a help. He'll jump fences in time too, he's big enough to do that. He's not huge but he's big enough to do that.
