Divine makes all in Listowel opener
She is smart and has a nice pedigree but I thought she would have won her maiden a long time ago. She was fourth to Roly Poly but had an accident after that and it knocked her back a month or more. She is lucky to be alive as she had an accident with the walker and had a lot of stitches around her head. Ger Kelly and the people at Fethard (Veterinary Clinic) deserve a lot of credit. It's good to get her back, she's a good filly and had to be tough to get through that ground.
Jealika does it again at Listowel
Ground is a big factor to her as she grows a leg on heavy ground. She is very tough, has a heart of gold and has to be ridden from off the pace as she loves passing horses.
Well lands a gamble under Coakley for Murphy
We figured she'd like the ground but we ran out of handicap options with her so decided to come here for a maiden. She has had a few issues and it's been a long road with her but I gave her a chance in that ground today. We were going to step her up to 1m 2f but there was no handicap for her. We had Gowran in mind next Sunday but she needed to go up to get into the race so decided to come here for this to help her get into it.

Star another for in-form Meade
Rattler scores in first time cheekpieces
I gave Brien free rein to ride him whatever way he liked and he is a very very good rider. He loves deep ground and will run next wherever there is muck.
Winters & Hayes on the mark with Jennys
He's only back in six or seven weeks max and I was hoping he'd run well and hoping there would be a future in him but it was very hard to tell anybody to back him. He was a bit sticky in his jumping in his point-to-point's but he came in way better this time.
