Check My Pulse another for Coen
He had a lovely run at Leopardstown the first day and it was his first time ever on grass. We fancied him even though he was a big price and he is a nice horse. All our horses are taking a run as they got no work on grass this year and he's a big horse, 16.1hh, and anything he'll do he will improve. He is owned by Adrian Costello, son of the legendary Tom Costello, from Co Clare and he is definitely for sale. If he's not sold we could go for a nursery but he will be a nicer three year old. Adrian may want to leave him off, which might be the right thing to do, as he is a nice horse.
Pillar stands tall for Gallagher in Listowel
We were drawn 14 and I didn't think he'd be able to get to the front but I left it up to Dusty (Shane Foley) and he gave him an excellent ride. The only chance on that type of ground is to be handy and he jumps very very smart so I said not to disappoint him. I didn't think he'd handle the ground but he did and the start was a huge factor and he gave him a serious ride. That's Sean Gallagher's first winner at Listowel so it's great to get that for him as he has been touched off here a few times in the past. We always thought he was an out-and-out sprinter but he is a funny horse who is now coming to himself and for a low-grade handicapper, he has 34,000 euro earned in place prize-money alone (and 57,500 euro in total prizemoney).

Progressive Astronomer brings up his hat-trick
He's not a bad horse and is lovely and lazy out the country and doesn't do anymore than he has to. I think the step up in trip might suit him more. You take them each run at a time but he is definitely progressive and is very likeable. He has to be a Group horse after the rating he's going to get now and if he keeps progressing you wouldn't know what he is going to be.
