Keane back level as Bopp lands Dundalk opener
We made a mistake running this lad back in June as he was big and weak. He showed us something from the word go but we should have given him right up until now. It’s a bonus that he’s won as he’s so honest and has a lovely temperament. I’d say that’s it for this year and we’ll pay him back now and give him time out. We’ll look forward to the spring. He’s a nice horse.

Pulse Of Shanghai comes good from the front
His last few runs were a bit disappointing for the work he can do at home. He won his maiden in Down Royal last year when Jim Ryan trained him and he beat a good horse of ours Strong Johnson over five (furlongs). We were trying to ride a race on him up to this and today we said we’d just send him forward as he always seemed to be finishing well. He probably should have won here a few weeks ago when he got into trouble in behind. There was no excuses today, a good man on board and out in front and go. Jim Ryan and Dr Chah are good supporters of ours. They sent us a handful of horses so it’s great they are winning for them now. He’ll ply his trade up here for the winter.
Kinirons strikes again with Pourtales
We were a little bit worried that the trip might be a bit sharp from that draw but she was very good and Bill got her out. She learned a lot from the last day. She’s lightly-raced and was a bit green the last day but we knew she had improved. She was bouncing at home. She’s strengthened up a lot from earlier in the year and is starting to fill into her frame. We’ll keep coming here for the winter and she’s an exciting filly for us to have. She’s very tough and genuine, and getting her head in front the last day gave her confidence. She knows how to battle now as she had never been in a battle until the last day. Hopefully she’ll keep improving.

Rutledge shines again on Dame
She got an absolute peach of a ride from Siobhan. She got a nice bit of cover, went the brave man's route and it paid off. Those fillies when the penny drops they can start improving. She has taken no training since she won the last time, just ticked over. That was only her second run at the trip, and she will probably stay a mile and a half. We’ll be back here in a couple of weeks. I’m just so happy for Siobhan. She works so hard at it and I hope other people take notice.
