it's brilliant to get it. I'm in a very lucky position as I ride for a lot of great people. I have great people around me, have a very good agent (Ruaidhri Tierney) and I'm riding nice horses. All those things together make this happen. It's been an unbelievable season, the way it has gone from strength to strength and we've had some nice winners in between. To get to this number is just unbelievable to be honest.

Third career win for Monzoon
he won around here last year and he loves a quick surface. The sire Bated Breath also had a winner here in the first (Torn) and they love that fast surface. I was a bit worried as he's won twice over a mile, but there was no race coming up over a mile, so we said we'd chance the seven. I thought it might be a little sharp for him but he galloped well to the line today. It's great to have him, he's won three races now, and the owner John Bowden has been very good to us. He'll probably campaign away for the winter up here and he seems to be getting better with time.
Dundalk double for Mikey Sheehy
Dundalk success for Abbaye hero Whelan
it worked out lovely for him. He's a horse that has been plagued with bad luck, bad draws and getting boxed in in big fields. I said to his owner one of these days it's going to fall right for him and today was the day. He's in the horses-in-training sales. He's a smashing horse, a horse that I'm very fond of and it would have been an injustice if we couldn't win another one with him. I'm delighted for his owner/breeder Johnny Connaughton, we had Bear Story win for him recently as well. The man has been patient and it's good to see him getting rewarded.

Getaway Queen registers seventh success
I don't know what happened the last day, it was just one of those days. I got her scoped afterwards and everything was right, she worked the other day and worked great. This was the only race for her, I know it was two furlongs shorter but I wasn't worried as she ran well over the trip here before. I'm surprised how well she won. You are always guaranteed the ground here, once they go on it. She's fabulous, that's seven wins now and she's flying. It would be great to have a yard of horses like her.
Whelan completes Dundalk double
I thought Ronan gave him a great ride - I left the tactics up to him and he designed it himself. He's a stout stayer and when he hit the front, as Ronan said, he felt he was the best horse in the race. He just kept going and got it done, so all credit to Ronan. he's been knocking on the door all year and we were hoping it would happen at some stage. He's in the horses-in-training and that will probably be his next engagement. I don't think there is an awful lot more here for him. He's a very sound, clear winded horse and I would put nobody off him. He has schooled, although we didn't venture that far with him. He's held his form all year and is a good thriving horse.
