Favourite Blue obliges in Bellewstown opener
We always thought a lot of her. We were a bit worried about the ground but this was the fifth last five furlong maiden for 2yo's until November. She is far better than a Bellewstown horse. She could run in a Listed race at Tipperary next week. She should progress from here. She ran well first time out at Navan but didn't quite fire at Naas where she may not have got the six furlongs. Her owners Mr & Mrs Rupert are from South Africa and they own Drakenstein Stud there.
Dreams makes it 2 from 2 for favourite backers
He had a wind operation between the end of last season and the start of this one and he seems to be happier in his racing now. Chris gave him a great ride. He is a funny old bugger at the best of times. We will keep him busy if this weather keeps up. His owner Maurice Flynn has been a great supporter of the yard and has been with me since I started out as a trainer.
Improving Faleena wins again
Dream delivers despite market drift
This is my fifth time here since I rode as an amateur in the earlier nineties. I was worried about the ground I thought he might get tired on it. He might get even further judging by that performance. It's tough going out there. They do a great job here. I've never been here before as a trainer.
Galway Plate next on the agenda for Blackstair
He is just a class above. When he stays on the bridle he runs well on that ground. It's soft ground out there for jumps horses. He is a very consistent horse. He goes for the Galway Plate now and this was his prep run. The Galway Plate has been a lucky race for the owners (won it last year with Blazing Tempo) and he will take a bit of beating there.

California takes the last for Martin & Curtis
She has hit a bit of form. She needs bottomless ground. She is a crotchety sort. She seemed to cope with that ground so we will keep her going as long as it keeps raining. She is in again on Tuesday and Fairyhouse and please God it will be on!
