Storms another for Holden
He was a bit disappointing when he ran in a bumper a couple of weeks ago but but the ground didn't really suit ideally so we weren't sure what to expect coming down here today but it worked out well. He is a lovely horse and will come on an awful lot from his run today. The flat is an option but the four year old hurdle at Galway wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Pakora gets the job done on Irish debut
Colgan & Thornton on the mark with Rideonastar
He had a good run in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse and then didn't handle the ground at Limerick. He's a grand horse and a step up in trip could improve him as well. I left him a novice for this season and he'll be alright and will pay his way. He likes that ground and doesn't want it too fast.
Rooster completes hat-trick in style
I'm delighted he was able to cope with the rise and I think that'll be him (finished) for the season because he handles proper winter ground. He had a bit of trouble as a five year old so there's no point in having to walk tracks and decide whether to run or not. He was a horse we probably pushed too much as a youngster and he was a late developer and it's nice to see him improving now and hopefully he can develop into a nice staying chaser next season.
