I thought he was on a reasonable mark and he ran well the last day at Cork. We thought he needed a bit further (after Cork) and he looks like he will make a nice chaser.
Double for Condon as Callaghans Cold scores
He has had a few niggles and was off for a while but a bit of patience has paid off. The step up in trip and the ground suited him today.
Double for Hughes as Definite shows her Class
She was entitled to win her Mares Beginners Chase although I didn't think she would win that far. She is a nice mare and is an Novice now for the season. She will be good over the summer and into the autumn.
Liberty scores for Love & Dalton
She jumps super and we may try to exploit her mark over hurdles now.
Willie & Patrick take the last with Zuzka
She is a very well bred mare. We have leased a few mares off Ken Parkhill and he has done a great job in preparing them. She will win hurdle races and could even go for some of those 1m 6f amateur flat races. She has a few gears and she did what we hoped she would do.
