Rocky Dreams claimed back at Dundalk
Fitzgerald hoping to make hay with Dundalk debutante
he has showed plenty at home, he's a good horse and I like him. I'd say six or seven (furlongs) will be his trip, Dandy Man was a fast horse as well. He's a compact horse and is definitely a sprinter to look forward to for the summer now. I was looking forward to running him as I knew he'd handle the surface because his mother wanted good ground. He wants 'hay' ground as I call it - when the hay is being done, he wants that ground. we'll look at a winners' race or a Listed race. We will see what is here, there is no problem coming back here but the grass will be too soft for him at this time of the year. It's great for the Foleys (owners) as well, they bred him.
Dartan delivers for top amateur
the last night I don't think he liked the bit - he acted up and he hung. He acted out of character and he just didn't put it all in.
Manning 'still going great' with first winner for Roche
Kevin gave him some ride and is still going great. It was great to have him. Kevin said he got the trip well there tonight and the tongue-tie obviously helped a bit, not that there was anything wrong with his wind. He was working well with it.
Well backed Wizard sheds maiden tag
Giuseppe Cassioli wins on first run for O'Leary
we just dropped him back to seven (furlongs), he was showing enough speed at home and they go stronger here that they did in Wolverhampton. We just told Colm Sharkey (bloodstock agent) to find us a nice horse and in fairness he's a lovely looking horse and he's a colt. He won it well. We'll have a look and see what is in the calendar now, we didn't look beyond today to be honest. He'd need good ground on turf, he's a very fine mover. We'll just mind him now.
Juncture approaches Classic crossroad
this filly was Ger's pick last year and was going to be our Moyglare filly but didn't get there. She has been back in early and has been working well. This was the perfect starting point for her as she was fit, so we weren't surprised she did that. We'll get her home and we'll talk to the Abdullah family but she'll go for a Guineas Trial now. She has always been held in the highest esteem by us.
Miss Amulet's colours carried to Dundalk success
I'm delighted for Colm as he's after giving me a few horses. We were unlucky with one horse before but he is going the right way and had a good run in a maiden up here the last day which has worked out well. Hopefully he can go up through the ranks and see how far he can go as a handicapper.
