Permission was given for Signore Piccolo (GB) to be mounted on the track and go to post early.
The Starter reported that East Street Revue (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 8:15pm.
Tim Easterby was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held into the running and riding of Reely Bonnie (GB), ridden by Shannon Watts and trained by Iain Jardine, which was held up in rear and tenderly ridden throughout, to finish ninth of twelve, beaten 6¾ lengths.
The rider and the trainer were interviewed and shown recordings of the race and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The rider stated her instructions were to bide her time, ride for the gaps and do her best.
She added that she was instructed to make her effort 2 furlongs out.
The trainer confirmed the instructions and stated that the rider is still very weak and inexperienced.
He added that in his opinion Watts needs to be stronger in her riding and ride more vigorously in the latter stages of the race.
Watts was suspended for 10 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to ensure REELIE BONNIE was run on its merits throughout the race.
