Jewel shines in Down Royal opener
Obviously, you saw how well-bred she is - it is important to keep the family tradition going!. It is Al Shira'aa Racing Limited's first winner in Ireland, so I'm delighted about that as well. They have bought another few yearlings for this year, so they will have more horses racing in Ireland. She is a lovely filly and we will step her up, maybe this year, but we will take our time because she is still growing a lot. She has always worked nicely and she did everything nicely. She skipped along ands she has been doing that at home.
McCreery and Lee at double with Sceolan
Billy gave her a great ride and I thought we were actually done on the line, so happy days!. She has plenty of ability as you saw there. She shot to the front and, when she hits the front, she parks. She did that in Tipperary but we were very lucky to hold on, I think. She's a well-bred filly by Churchill and is a lovely-looking filly. She has been a bit unlucky and she minds herself. She loves racing and she is clever, but she will come on from that. I thought she ran a very good race on the first day of the year in a handicap in the Curragh. Then she disappointed a few times. You have to keep the revs up the whole time or she falls asleep on you. It has been a great day and a great day for Billy, so I'm delighted.
