Geraghty was cautioned for careless riding as he had been slow to correct Champ (IRE) from running to the left of the dividing rail, causing minimal interference to Black Op (IRE).
Following the race, Robbie Power reported that Vision Des Flos (FR), placed fifth, ran too freely; the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding finished lame on its left hind.
The Veterinary Officer further reported that Mont Des Avaloirs (FR), placed fourth, lost its right fore shoe.
