Going - Good (Good To Firm in places). Overcast
Hughes continues good run
Nomer has luck on her side
We were a little bit lucky! She jumped alright but a faster pace would have suited her better.
Wedding celebrations continue at Down Royal
This is the best horse I've had by a country mile but nerves kept getting the better of him at the races. He's highly strung and his race is usually run after half a mile. I knew if he settled he'd win.
Nodelay makes all
He's entered at Downpatrick on Monday but we'll see about that. There's not a lot of races for her but she's in good form and thrives on her racing. She's improved again from her last run at Downpatrick. I left the tactics up to Paul tonight and there's no better man.
Vic leaves the bookies feeling Blue
He was wrong after his second last run here so we let him off for a month, and then he ran too free at Bellewstown last time. He's still learning as he ran about a bit there. He'll be a nice horse to go chasing with though.
Larkin leads the way
He really disappointed last time and previously we didn't make enough use of him at Limerick. He's a summer horse and jumped super today.
Cottage makes a splash in bumper
He's a nice horse, picked up well and kept going. Andrew said he was always going to win from a furlong a half out. He's only four and is still weak and hasn't fully grown. He's just a shell of a horse, and I might put him away. He's going to be a lovely horse next year.
