Jackemil ploughs through mud to score
She loved the ground,. She's not in training that long, only a couple of months, and she's come on with every run. Ben gave her a brilliant ride.
Hickey off the mark with Highflying
That's my first winner and I'm delighted. It's a monkey off my back,. I've had the licence nearly a year now but I've only had five individual runners. I've three two-year-olds and they've all been in the frame. I have to give special mention to my brother Michael who put a lot of work into this horse over the winter.
Shifting streaks clear for win
The blinkers made a bit of a difference. The ground is testing but the jockeys are riding at a sensible pace,.

Wind blows away opposition
That's his second win here . he won here last year (on the Flat). It's horses for courses!. I was worried about the ground but I think he's a top horse. He just likes nice ground. You probably won't see him again until November in Cheltenham. He's a much better horse fresh and he's only had one piece of work since his last run. He'll have a spin around Cheltenham and hopefully he'll be good enough to go back there.

Faheys strike with Jewel in bumper
I'm delighted as I've been trying to have a winner down in Listowel for a good while and I've been close on a few occasions. I finally made the breakthrough today with my last runner of the week,. It was a good performance but it was probably made a bit easier by the withdrawal of a couple of fancied ones. Her form was pretty solid anyway and she was entitled to have a good go at a race of this type. She's a mare that's improving and probably has the makings of a decent filly. She'll be better over two-and-a-half miles and she's schooled well over hurdles. I was a bit concerned with her fitness levels coming here today on that ground but Mark gave her a lovely ride and hopefully she's one with a future. There is the two-mile Listed bumper for mares in Navan in November and we'll maybe wait and chance our arm there for some black-type.
