I was going to let him out three weeks ago!. This suited him and he was still in good form so we said why not. We’ll have a look and see what’s coming up now. It’s great to finish up the season with a couple of wins as we were struggling for ground on and off. It has worked out well.

That was great. I’m delighted she’s won for me. She had been running well. She ran well at the Curragh when second and I thought that day she had a chance of winning a race. She might go back jumping now.

I’m delighted. It’s the first time all year he’s had his ground. He did have a bad run in the Curragh but his bloods came back very wrong and in Ascot he couldn’t handle the ground. Gary said he battled really well but was a bit ring rusty at the start. A mile is no problem as he’s relaxing in his races and is very rideable. It took him a couple of strides longer to hit top gear than Gary thought but he battled back. It was a bit scary. I don’t think there is anything more for him here so we’ll put him away and look at mile races next year. His brain is really maturing and I’m delighted with him.
