Nation travels Powerfully at Dundalk
He stumbled coming to the line in Tipperary and we felt that's what got him beat. He had a little high suspensory injury. . We took him up to Stephanie Moore who has a spa and he's only back on the go five or six weeks. . I was going to bring him here today for a piece of work, because I want to go for the Legacy Stakes. When I saw this race I said he might as well run. . I've never had anything as fast as him. Today was a gallop for the Legacy. He's a good horse and the owner is in no hurry to sell him which is lucky for me. . I'd say he'd stay six but he has so much speed, why change it. He's hacking all over those a furlong down.
Karazhal strikes on second start
We're delighted with him. It all seemed to go over his head at the Curragh. He had been pleasing us working and we were happy to start him off but it didn't happen on the day. . We gelded him as he was quite a heavy topped horse, took our time with him and he had been working nicely and was ready to start back. . I think he benefitted from a fast run race there, they seemed to run out of steam a bit late on and he was just coming home well. . He looks like a horse that could maybe even go up a furlong and I'd say there is plenty more improvement in him. He has a good attitude and it's good to get a bracket for him. . Watching the race I was saying that this lad needs to go up a furlong anyway but his last furlong was good.
Levins' stalwart strikes at Dundalk
Fair play to the handicapper, he's given him a chance. He has a bit of age about him now and he had a bit of a lull for most of the year.

Oliver doubles up with Danagher
With both horses I thought opportunities presented themselves and we're lucky enough to be able to take advantage. I think it was too drastic a step up last time with him. He's a horse that relaxes in his races so we thought he might get it but I went back and examined the pedigree and it's all ten furlong and mile-and-a-half horses. I just put a line through the last run. He's a horse that has strengthened all year, he probably just does enough and has got himself into winning positions that he probably didn't avail of on a couple of occasions. Credit where credit is due, Wayne gave him a lovely ride, I was very impressed. We'll see what presents itself now, he just wants good ground this horse and I don't know if we're going to be lucky to have this weather for much longer.

McGuigan off the mark with shock winner Anjah
It's a long time coming, we've always been hitting the crossbar and it's good to get the monkey off our back. . He runs well around here and we just haven't had the best luck, there was always one sitting in there to pip us on the line. He's been second and third. . We only have half a dozen horses. This is special because he's owned by my son Kyle and it's a real family operation. We train in Letterkenny. . We'll keep him going around here now and hopefully he might win again. We've a couple more for here as well.
