Robin makes all in Down Royal opener
She'll probably go for the Grimes Hurdle as it suits as it is in three weeks then the Galway Hurdle as it is another three weeks away. She probably needs another five or six pounds to get into the Galway Hurdle, but she beat a 128-rated horse today so that might be enough.
Empresario scores on first start for Smith
I've had him two and a half to three months. He has plenty of ability and won twice on the flat.
Glory for well-backed Cape
We'll try and find a little winners race for him. He's improving, but he's still a bit lairy in front.
Leibniz a revelation in Down Royal
Galway next up for Butney Rock
He has run some nice races and is improving all the time. Noel said they weren't going fast enough for him so he went asleep on him and came back on the bridle. I thought we weren't going to win. He's a great lepper and he likes that nice ground. His owner Cathal McGovern is from Newry and owned Galway Plate winner Ballyholland. He wants to go to Galway with Butney Rock.
Fisher Bridge punches his ticket to Galway
Morning sends favourite backers home happy
I didn't want to use the whip on her as she had been quite keen as someone clipped her heel after a furlong. I though it was a good performance as she ran off the bend. We had her brother and sister - Morning Royalty and Morning Supreme - and she's my favourite of the three. I wouldn't be afraid to go anywhere with her against mares. She might go for the bumper that Annie Power won at Galway. The owner Henry Murphy is from Wexford and he bred her. He's a very good breeder.
