Elliott eyes Kerry National for Salvador Ziggy
It was a good performance again even though he was getting a few pounds off two of them. Jack (Kennedy, jockey) said the further he went, the better he got. He probably wasn't in love with the track or maybe the ground. . There is a novice chase for him at Killarney next week and you need three runs to qualify for those good staying handicap chase, so that's why we are keen to run him. He could be a horse for the Kerry National.
C'est Quelqu'un brings up double for Elliott and Kennedy
Jim and Noeline Power are from Tramore and are great supporters of the yard, so it's great to get a winner for them here. . We bought this horse out of Sean Curran's yard and he has run well every day since we got him. He is lowly rated and will be kept going in races like this. Jack did well to stay on him at the last. Thank God it was Tramore fences and not big ones like at Fairyhouse.

Kiely delighted to score in Tramore with Inchiquin Star
We focus mostly on point-to-pointers but we have a handful for the track. This is my first winner at Tramore and it's nice to get one at my local track. . She was probably unlucky the last day when she made a bad mistake at the third last. I felt like it cost her, it knocked the wind out of her at the wrong time. She had a couple of nice runs and was unlucky at Tipperary where she ran into a good horse. Hopefully she will pick up another one. . She is not very big and I was worried about the ground when they changed it to soft. Coming here I was fairly confident but when the ground changed it was putting me off a bit. She is gutsy though. She is owned by Sean Harnedy, his son Seamus plays senior hurling for Cork. Sean is a great supporter of the yard. He had horse (Rose Mahler) last year who was placed a few times before she was killed at Wexford. That's the joys of it.
Tramore treble for Elliott & Kennedy
Joshua Chamberlain forges home for Doyle
The horses are running great. He is a horse that we've always liked and it just took him a while to come to hand. We always thought he'd do something like that, but he has just been frustrating. . He was fifth to Marine Nationale one day in bumper and was beaten by just over 10 lengths. You'd think you could go anywhere with him after that. He just took a long time to come right. He is from a funny family and I had a lot of them. They can show plenty at home but don't bring it to the track. They'd flatter you at home and frustrate you when they run. . I wasn't sure about the ground. He ran a nice race in Ballinrobe (on Monday). Ricky said he probably wanted further and said to go two-and-a-half with him or more. He came out of the race well at Ballinrobe and we had him in here, so we said we'd take our chance. He is owned by James Robinson and my wife Esther, but is for sale.
Caman Eileen shows off her turn of foot in Tramore
She was very good. Mark Landers sent her to us, Jimmy Mangan pre-trained her and he did a great job. We were worried about the ground, but she handled it fine. She has got a nice Flat pedigree, with loads of speed. Once I gave her a squeeze she took off, she has plenty of gears. We might look for a black-type bumper with her now, possibly the one at Gowran towards the end of next month.
