We have been waiting along time for that. She had some good form last year but had a lot of trouble with her shins. I thought she would need the run this evening as she hadn't run since October. She jumps well and has good point-to-point experience and she just idled a bit in front.

His last run seemed to be good enough, and he was entitled to win. Johnny was superb on him, and he looked like a professional. He'll probably go to Down Royal next Friday for a similar handicap, and have a break after that.

I love this horse to bits and he's very tough and hardy. He has tonnes of ability. He was bred by Padraig O'Donovan (from Cloyne) and owned by him and his three sons. Padraig's not too well at the moment so hopefully this will prove a good tonic.
